Stags Professional Services held a range of successful seminars in 2016 in conjunction with some of the South West's best-regarded solicitors, accountants and bankers. Six seminars were hosted throughout the year with partners including Simpkins Edwards Chartered Accountants, Lloyds Bank, Ashford Solicitors, Evolution ABS and Old Mill Accountants.
Attendance at each of the seminars was excellent, with most attracting in excess of 60 farmers and landowners, who came to discuss topics as diverse as contract farming agreements, Class Q Permitted Development Rights, succession planning, proactive ways for farmers and landowners to save tax and manage finances, and more generally the impact of the global economic climate.
On the back of such a positive response, in 2017 the Stags Professional Services team will be hosting many more seminars, beginning in the spring with the theme 'Farming - A Family Business'.
